cute stories about laci

As I've said before, life continues on as usual outside my little world here at the hospital, and it makes me feel so separated from my "real" life. It helps, though, when I hear cute stories about my girl Laci. Then I feel like I'm not missing so much. Plus, I think this blog could use a little light-heartedness, even if just to remember that things could be so much worse, and there is still so much to be happy for.

The other day when Laci was watching Tangled with my mom and she saw Flynn Rider up on the screen, she called him "Daddy."

Too funny. And yes, I can see a little resemblance.

Just yesterday, Aunty Beth was shopping at Victoria's Secret online and little Laci was "helping" her. Apparently, when she saw Adriana Lima, she said, "Mom!"

I can't say I really see the resemblance there, but I'll take the compliment.

I know we have been missing from your life quite a bit lately, but your daddy and I love you very much and this will all be over before you know it. I can only hope that you always think of your daddy as a handsome, brave hero and that you always think of me as a beautiful supermodel mom.
