We are home tonight. Back to our little house in the country, away from crazy city drivers, with almost enough sand to build our own backyard beach. I have a mountain of laundry and two very tired girls already tucked into bed. I am waiting up for two special white blankies to finish drying before calling it a night.
Twelve hours at the beach yesterday was the perfect mix of fun and exhaustion. This momma is tired. And so are two little girls that I'm hoping will sleep a little longer in the morning.
I have only a few pictures from my phone tonight, the rest are on my real camera and will have to wait until I sit down at the computer.
Still clean girlies...but not for long.
To get this dirty, one must bury herself, crawl, and lay on her belly in the sand while yelling "swimming!"
It also helps to bury your head a few times. Now just imagine this position out in the sand, because that's exactly what happened.
