{august 18} laci turns four

Instead of droning on about how amazing, beautiful, smart, and wonderful this little girl is (as per past birthday posts), I thought I'd share a little peek into her four year old mind.  

All of the following answers are straight from Laci, no editing.  I promise.

What is today?  My birthday!

How old are you? I'm four.

Does that mean you're grown up now?  No.

What is your favorite color?  Ummm, white and pink and red and white and blue, no not blue, and purple.  Those are all my favorite colors that I know.

What is your favorite animal?  Lions and puppies and kitties and kittens and butterflies and tigers.  I think I like all animals.

What is your favorite food?  Strawberries and blueberries.

What do you want to be when you grow up?  Never go to work.

Who is your best friend?  Bubs and Sydney and Evan and horses.  And Sonic, just for pretend.

What games to you like to play with Mia?  Playing puppies and kitties.

What is your favorite show?  Diego and Dora.

What is your favorite thing to do?  Write things.

What is your favorite time of day?  My birthday!

What are you afraid of?  Dragons and rattlesnakes. 

What makes you happy?  Milk.

What is your favorite thing to do with mommy?  Play and brush her hair.

What is your favorite thing to do with daddy?  Wrestle with him.  I like to wrestle.

What do you take to bed with you every night?  Sonic and Spike and my blankie.

What special thing do you want on your birthday?  Open presents.

What is your favorite thing to wear?  My Ariel nightgown.

What things do you do really well?  Play and read.

What do you love to learn about?  Puppies.

So there you have it.  Life from a four year old's point of view.  And yes, a few of these made me scratch my head, too.  Like, since when are you concerned about dragons?  And I don't think you understand the concept of a favorite.  And when did you learn to read?  Others were obvious.  Yes, I'm aware your Ariel nightgown is your favorite, and has been for TWO years.  It's still a size 18 months, and fits more like a shirt than a gown, but it makes you happy, so whatever.
