I should be working right now. Obviously, I'm not. I've noticed that as the list of things I "should" be doing gets longer, the less apt I am to actually do them. So, I blog. About what? I have no idea. I could tell you about Laci and this tomato that she carried around for 45 minutes the other night. But that's about all there is to that story.
She carried, she squeezed, she squished, she tasted, she lost interest. The End.
I could tell you that tonight is Ryan's 37th day of work, or 38th, or 36th, or something like that. I could clarify that working seven days a week does, in fact, mean every single day of the week. I feel like I need to clarify that because I can't tell you how many times I've been asked, "Does Ryan have to work Sunday?" Well, unless there is a new eighth day of the week that I'm not aware of, then, YES, Ryan does have to work Sunday, as that is one of the seven days of the week. But, guess what? Ryan does NOT have to work on Monday. One whole day off for Labor Day. The irony, he doesn't have to labor on Labor Day.
I could tell you that today is the first day of September, but I'm pretty sure anyone with a calendar knows that. I always feel like September 1st marks the end of Summer, even though we officially have three weeks left until Autumn. And even though today was completely hot and tomorrow will be too. Do you say Autumn or Fall? I usually say Fall, but write Autumn.
Just in case you were wondering.
I could tell you that the new lens I got is a 50mm f/1.8 and I'm having a lot of fun taking pictures with it. None of which have made it from the camera to the computer. But I'm totally thrilled to be able to take indoor pictures without having to use the flash.
Totally. Thrilled. Totally.
There are a lot more equally thrilling things I could tell you right now.
But I'm pretty sure you'll live without reading every single thought that is randomly running through my head right now.
So, instead, I'll go do what I should be doing.
And I'll probably be back tomorrow.
PS: Are you as tired of looking at this blog as I am? Talk about needing a facelift. I'll add that to my "I should" list.

Funny that you should mention the Fall vs Autumn thing. It's a west coast thing to say Fall. Pretty much everywhere else says Autumn. We were just discussing this in the office the other day. Real interesting work speak huh. :)
