another reason to love Fall

I just remembered another reason to love Fall:

a new season of shows on TV.

I so enjoyed How I Met Your Mother on Monday.

Not since Friends have I wanted a group of TV characters to be my own personal friends.

Lame, I know.

We just started watching last season and I have repeatedly asked myself,
"Self, why did it take you so long to catch on to this show?  It is fantastic!"

(If you didn't watch, you probably don't appreciate the reference,

but really, you probably should be watching).

And the DVR is ready right now with new episodes of

The Middle, Modern Family, and Cougar Town.

And here's looking forward to Thursday's The Office,

and a new one Outsourced.

Only another week or two and the hubby and I will be able to watch TV together in the evenings again.
