Another Shop Update
Just another update on the shop. Taking on a project of this magnitude leaves little time for any other projects around the place. Add Ryan's ridiculous work schedule to the mix and we hardly have time to eat together. Here is the product of Ryan's sole focus lately:

It's All About...
We women (Mom, Kristina, Beth & I) went to see these women tonight and they were great! Fun times! There really aren't ANY men in the movie, but it's certainly not missing a thing.
Thank you to all the women in my life...we couldn't make it without each other.

Bailee Goes Hunting
Well, not really at all.
Dove season recently opened and my dad and the surrounding neighbors have been working hard at getting as many of these little birds as possible. After all, it only takes half a dozen doves to feed one person (slight exaggeration? I think not). Now, Bailee has always been extremely scared of guns. Most of the time, she'll hide before the gun is even shot, all she has to do is see the gun case and she's out of there.
The other day, I went to visit my parents and of course brought along Bailee & Lunati. Well, as soon as the shooting began, Bailee disappeared. It was a while before I went looking for her, but when I found her I just had to take a picture (something I'm sure that only applies to people who treat their dogs like children). Apparently, she thinks the bathtub is the safest location to hide and I was unable to convince her otherwise.

Four Years and Counting
Today marks the anniversary of our first kiss and becoming an official couple. Four years ago Ryan and I admitted we actually maybe "liked" each other and we have rarely been apart since then. Ryan also proposed to me on this day last year. I considered getting married on September 6th this year but decided it would probably be too hot for a wedding...and I couldn't wait that long! Who knew four years would pass so easily?
Cheers to us and many more anniversaries to celebrate.
Windows & Doors
The latest on the shop is we have doors and windows. We still need a roof and some stucco, but we are almost done.
This is a picture of my future front door. Yes, that's right, eventually I will be living in this shop (hopefully for only a short time). We are planning to build a new home in the next year or two, but the mobile is in the way. Therefore, we will need to remove the mobile before we can build a house which involves moving out of the mobile and into the shop. I'm not really sure how I feel about this. However, I DO know that I am ready for a new, clean house with appliances that work and without a speck of wood paneling anywhere. I think I am willing to make this sacrifice...although, after living in a shop for a while I might actually miss the wood paneling. I'll have to let you know how that goes.
