keeping track of stuff

Mia had a well check last week at 10 1/2 months old.  Yes, we are a little off schedule, but I'm fairly certain she's seen enough doctors in her life to not worry much, or at all.

Since I only wrote in Laci's baby book for maybe six months, and Mia doesn't even have a baby book, I've come to rely on this blog to keep track of the stats.  And it is that time to record again.  A time when I sit down and wonder when I will ever get this blog printed.  At this point, I have managed only to back up to my computer, which does ensure that if Blogger freaks out, I will not have lost all of my writing.

So, the stats:

10 1/2 months old
18 lbs 2 oz - 25th %
26 1/4" tall - 10th %

With all her learning-to-walk activities lately, her chunkiness is disappearing.  Her baby legs will soon be toddler legs and *sigh* I will miss them.  She could SO walk on her own, but she much prefers to be holding onto something.

And this is the favorite book I was talking about.  Her favorite page has pictures of babies all over and it makes her smile every time.  As do baby dolls and real babies.  I think she will be my little mother.

I just looked back on the blog to find Laci's ten months stats and got lost in old posts for twenty minutes, thereby reinforcing the obvious fact that I NEED to make a book.  Or many books.

For comparison, my ten month old Laci weighed 17 lbs and was 26 1/2" tall.  What can I say?  Mia loves her food.  And we have tiny babies.

I love them that way.
