mornings {you capture}

Mornings.  Oh, how I wish I were a morning person.  I would love to wake up early, before the little ones stir, so that I could get a head start on the day before the demands begin.  I would sit in the early morning light and sip my coffee while it is still hot.  I would be ready to fill sippys and change diapers and play with a fresh mind, not sleepy eyes and bed head.  But, I am not a morning person...yet.  Maybe, when I can get enough sleep during the night, I will be able to wake in the mornings feeling refreshed.  I am hoping.

I am so very grateful most of our mornings are unscheduled, unstructured.  We can have breakfast, or not...stay in our pajamas until afternoon or get fancied up early.  Most days, we just take the day as it comes.  Mornings with a schedule (we have a few of those) are always hectic and stressed, making me sincerely appreciate the fact that I don't have to go to work everyday and that I don't have to drop my girls off at day care in the mornings.

Mornings are about messy hair and pajama feet.

There is a hill on the west side of our property which effectively hides the sunsets from me (boo!), but we have a view of some amazing sunrises (when they choose to show themselves.) Too bad there hasn't been one this week.  Our weather has been mild this Winter, leaving the sunrise a bit less than spectactular.  But, I tried to go out and capture something morning-like (other than my sweet girls) and THAT is the whole purpose of this You Capture thing anyway.  Getting out there and shooting.  So I did.

  1. The feet pics are cute (and very well done), but I absolutely love that last tree shot.
