On Sunday, we celebrated Cousin Sydney's 5th Birthday.
It was rainy, so we were all stuck inside,
but I don't think the kids minded too much.
There was plenty of entertainment for them.
It was too funny watching Laci trying to keep up with them all.
I would say she held her own pretty well,
I would say she held her own pretty well,
and she certainly wasn't the quietest one of the bunch.
I entertained myself by catching cute faces like these with the camera.
The pinata had pull strings,
which made it a bit safer than,
but not nearly as exciting as,
the good ole' "beat it with a bat" method.
The birthday girl finished the job.
And the frenzy begins.
Even Laci got in on the action,
although I think she gave more candy to the other kids than she put in her own bag.
The real highlight of the party, at least for Miss Laci, was finding the Elmo doll that sings "Shout!"
"...a little bit softer now, a little bit softer now..."
"...a little bit louder now, a little bit LOUDER now..."
It was as much fun as you can imagine, having 15 or so kids trapped in a house for three hours.
We can't wait to do it again next year.
Happy Birthday, Sydney!!
We Love You!
I can just imagine her dancing to Elmo now...:)This week is dragging, I can't wait for Saturday...or at least Friday.
