She Can Stack

So, let me start by saying that I thought I posted the previous post this morning.  Obviously, that didn't happen either.  Maybe it is just the post that wasn't meant to be.  Well, anyhow, it is posted now and I guess I'll just have to be happy with that.

Now, onto the real reason I'm posting again.

I've been such a downer lately.

Sorry.

Complaining, whining.

No sleep, no time. Blah blah blah.

Enough of that.

I usually try to keep this blog a happy place,

but lately I've fallen in a rut.

Maybe it is the lack of sleep, or the lack of time,

or maybe it is just a negativity spiral.

Whatever the reason, I'm done with excuses.

So, I'll start fresh with yesterday's big event

(and work backward through my pictures as the opportunities arise).

Yesterday, Laci showed me she can stack the rings all by herself.

And when she's all done stacking, she even puts the star on top.

Well, most of the time she can put the star on top.

But when the star won't stay on, she just pushes the little button with her pointer finger

and plays her victory song.

And, as if that weren't cute enough,

she adds a little wiggly dance.

And then I remember that the reason I'm so tired,

and the reason I don't have any free time,

is because I'm taking care of her,

and helping her learn,

and that most definitely is the best use of my time.
