this boy...

...has, thankfully, decided to turn himself head down, but isn't showing any signs of vacating soon.

...covered his face with both hands during the entire ultrasound scan yesterday and, despite prodding, refused to move them.

...squirms and kicks harder than either of the girls ever did. Even woke me up last night with his pointy little foot.

...kicks and pushes his sisters whenever they squish him. He's practicing early, as he should be.

...is definitely, without a doubt, still a boy, as confirmed by ultrasound yesterday.

...would have been born today if he decided to come when Mia did. (I'm glad he decided to stay a bit longer.)

...weighs approximately 6 lbs 2 oz, which is exactly what Mia's birth weight was.

...has a head full of hair according to the technician. I would expect nothing less. We have hairy babies that are bald by four months.

...has a lot of people excited to meet him, which may or may not include his sisters. But I am anxious to finally meet him. I look at his picture and wonder, "Just who are you going to be?"

  1. Yay! I was glad to hear this after talking with mom yesterday. :) Also I can never tell what I am looking at on an ultrasound. It looks like rolling hills or a loaf of pull apart monkey bread, haha! We can't wait to meet him and remember I say Nov 4th...but I may adjust my estimate to like the 8th. :)
