And by dealing with it, I mean the girls and I spend several evenings a week at my parents' house where they get worn out and often fall asleep on the way home. My kids, not my parents. Although, I think my parents get pretty worn out, too. On any given evening we might play in the little pool, pick vegetables in the garden, pet the horses, or, as in the case of this particular evening, water the flowers in grammy's "little garden."
No outing to the little garden would be complete without:
some dirt and water
playing in the bird bath (the very same bird bath I played with as a kid in my own grandma's yard)
a bee nest and subsequent fear of the bee nest
a meltdown because I told my dear daughter she couldn't do something (can't remember what it was)
(I just love how Maverick is never far from Laci
and he becomes especially concerned when she is upset.)
finding the Velcro on shoe, removing said shoe, and then tasting it
And finally, a hose down which I promise I put an end to...just as soon as I snapped this picture.
And these pictures are from a different night (actually the night of her first birthday) but she is wearing the same dress (this pink dress, in fact, that I still love) and she looks cute, so I thought I would just add these in too.
Sending BIG HUGS!!! Miss you all!!! Give them kisses from their Auntie!!
