just checking in

The girls and I returned late last night from a week long visit with my aunt in the Bay Area.  It was a super fun trip that has left me with a mountain of laundry and 200+ pictures.  We are all very tired and will be going to bed early tonight.  Or, at least I hope we are going to bed early tonight.

And tomorrow is one very special little girl's FIRST birthday.  I have a very important letter to write to her, though I am having trouble finding the exact words to tell her how amazing she is.  I guess I have about 24 hours to get it all figured out.
