stats and sprinkles

We did not pass yesterday. Ryan has a tedious list of to-do's waiting for him after work today. We'll be ready for round two next week. *Sigh* Moving on.

Mia had a checkup this morning. Here are her stats at 7.5 months:

16 lbs 13 oz (50%)
25 3/4" long (25%)
44cm head circumference (75%)

So, we have a short, chunky girl with a big head. Which might not sound nice, but that's how we like her. And also why none of Laci's hats fit her.

Just look at what the little stinker has been up to lately.

  

She's so ready to be a big kid like her sister. I'm not encouraging any of this behavior, it is complete self-motivation.

And since it seems like it has been all Mia all the time lately, here is my big girl. Looking more like a big girl everyday.

She is obsessed with counting things and eating animal cookies, the pink and white cookies with sprinkles. There are sprinkles ev-er-y-where.  Sometimes in the carpet.  Sometimes she finds the sprinkles in the carpet and eats them.

I tell her, "Don't eat stuff you find on the floor."

She says, "Sprinkles!" As if it would be ludicrous to NOT eat a sprinkle off the floor.

I say, "Okay."

And this basically sums up every conversation we have.

I am off to go console a little one who got three shots today and has not napped except in the car on the way home.  Sleep, little one, just sleep.  Please.
