looking in {you capture}

UPDATED - Thursday, February 16, 2012
You Capture is back!  So excited!!

*****

"Looking in" is a great theme that leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I first thought of shooting through the window into the house, or through a doorway to spy on a little someone with her toys, but these opportunities did not present themselves this week. And the effort it would have required to stage what I envisioned in my head made me look elsewhere for something to fit the theme.

Looking in a tiny terrarium, complete with a shiny (inanimate) frog.

Looking in the eye of an old friend, pushed out of the limelight by two sweet little girls.

Looking in the shape sorter, every one's favorite toy in this house, providing colorful shape bokeh.

I'm really interested to see how everyone else captured this week's theme. Especially those people who have the ability to shoot whenever, and not just during the three minutes that one child is sleeping, the other is coloring, and no one needs their nose, face, or butt wiped.

  1. I like your take on things, I was really curious how people would interpret this - I too was thinking of the whole "Looking in a window" :)

  3. I love your photo of the horse. Even though they may not speak words, animals say a lot with their eyes.

    1. Thank you, and yes they do. I'm a sucker for any furry thing with big brown eyes.
