life lately

I really want to write a real post with real pictures, but if I wait until I have time for a "real" post, it may never happen. For the record, I want to say I took real pictures with my real camera on Thanksgiving and I hope to someday be able to look at them. In the meantime, there's this. Another post from my phone with pictures from my phone, and thank goodness for that, or else this blog would be a lonely place.

In the past week:
- Noah has been growing like crazy. He has already outgrown all his newborn clothes and diapers. Sad momma when babies grow too fast
- Mia remains the devoted big sister.
- We had an awesome Thanksgiving with lots of extended family and lots of food.
- I am happy to return to homebody status for the rest of the year.
- Ryan started putting up Christmas lights outside yesterday. Our first outdoor lights ever, and it makes me so happy. Hopefully we'll be getting a tree later this week.
- I haven't bought a single gift yet.
- Today was a good day, I felt good and got a lot done. Yesterday, I was so tired I felt sick to my stomach. I need more days like today.
- Noah loves the moby wrap, which is good, because he also likes to be held and this momma needs to get stuff done. Today, we wiped down the bathroom, made pancakes, and did the dishes together.
- Time seems to have simultaneously stopped and sped up lately. My babies are growing too fast and yet, the days sometimes drag. It's an interesting place to be and I remind myself to enjoy this season of life before it passes.

Our life as seen through my phone:

I love Mia's eyes. So. Much.

TV watching. I love her little hands.

Baby toes.

Fun in the kitchen.

Love snuggling him.

Love where I live.

Not many leaves left now. Glad I took this one when I did.

All wrapped up.

Snoozing. He does this a lot. During the day.

Had to have a creative moment to recharge myself. It's a starfish, in case you're wondering.

Ready for bed.

Oh, hello. I scratched my face then my mom trimmed my nails. Finally.

And then I went back to sleep.

Playing.

We will not pose for you.

Love them!

Peek a boo.

Cheer.

Good night.
