Singing Praises

I am posting today to sing the praises of the Baby Bjorn baby carrier. I was reluctant to spend $90 on a contraption to carry my baby around when I have two strong, capable arms for free, but I did it anyway. Today, I put it to the test and I would gladly spend the $90 all over again. With the help of this wonderful HANDS FREE carrier, I was able to brush my teeth AND my hair, wash a few dishes, do a load of laundry, talk on the phone, type with two hands, change out of my PJ bottoms into jeans (couldn't change my shirt obviously), AND get the mail - and all before 1 pm. Now I am pooped! It is amazing how your perspective on accomplishments changes once you have a demanding 7 week old to deal with - especially one that doesn't like her bouncer chair or swing. I would have never guessed that just brushing my teeth would allow me to say, "Yeah, I DID something today." The best part of the carrier is that I can go walk the track around our field in the beautiful sunshine and Miss Laci goes right to sleep. Something about the fresh air just knocks her out. So I'm also singing the praises of the most awesome weather we are having, I wish it could be this nice everyday, just maybe a little less windy.
