Easter Sunday

The Easter pictures finally found their way onto my computer and sadly,

this is all I have to show for it.

I just didn't have the picture-taking bug that day.

It was cold and rainy and gloomy,

most of the cousins were missing from this year's gathering,

and we were stuck inside the house all afternoon.

It was nice to visit with Ryan's side of the family, but it definitely wasn't as fun as last year.

It would be unfair to our family story, however,

to pretend it didn't happen.

So, for the sake of a complete story,

Laci's first Easter with the Edwards Family happened.

Laci spent most of it either crying because she needed to sleep,

or sleeping because she was tired from crying.

And that is about all I have to say about it.

Ryan and I were there, too, although there isn't any visual proof of it.

In fact, it was the first time we were all prettied up together since Christmas,

and do we have a family picture to show for it?

No.

Just like at Christmas,

and Thanksgiving.

Seems to be a new tradition for us:

whenever we get dressed up for a holiday, absolutely DO NOT take a family picture.

Instead,

wait until we are at our absolute worst,

and then snap away to record forever how incredibly un-photogenic we all are.

I won't be sharing those pictures here.

Instead, I'll share the other two pictures from Easter that turned out (sort of).

This is Laci's cousin Evangeline.  She is almost two, cute as a bug,

and obviously confused by her tiny cousin.

Don't worry Evie, sometimes I don't understand her either.
