So. Much. Snot.
Do you know how dumb sickness is?
I will tell you.
Really. Really. Dumb.
I'm over sickness. The end.
And fortunately, I think we are finally at the end. For reals this time. I'm ready to de-snot my house for good.

Other than that, we are all well here. Some of you kind friends have inquired as to my absence. I really don't have an explanation except this:
The thing about blogging is that sometimes it feels like a lot of work. And sometimes, your kids are sick a lot and you just want to go to bed when they do instead of sitting up at the computer. And sometimes, your kids get better, but you would rather sit on the couch and watch TV with the hubs. And sometimes, the kids get sick AGAIN, and you just want to go to bed FOREVER. And sometimes, it's just hard to get back into the swing of things.
But then, THEN, you decide to do something about it since almost a month has passed and you haven't documented any of it.
But then, hmmmm, where to start?
I. Have. No. Idea.
So, I'll just start with today, and figure out where to go next on another day.
Our one thousandth lady bug of the season. I believe this one was lucky enough to survive being "loved."
Swinging is soooo much fun.
She insists on saying "cheese." I do not like it. Also, she thinks this is some awesome pose.
Her standard pose as of late. She won't look at me.
Which is just as well because she probably had snot crusted to her nose.
Mia has decided she loves driving. There is not a serious bone in this child's body.
It is full throttle, full time. Unless she is sleeping, which isn't nearly often enough.
Okay, she can be kind of serious sometimes.
But her hair? Never serious. Always crazy. Always.
We all have our own way of sliding.
Are these kids country or what?
Definitely country.
And to think, all this happened in the hour between dinner and bath time. We sure know how to squeeze in some fun. Not pictured: feeding our ravenous fish which have multiplied by the hundreds, jumping in the bed of daddy's truck, and climbing up the rock pile. It was a 100% purely enjoyable evening, and not just because clothing was 50% optional. If you're wondering what the rest of April looked like, you can assume it was much like this with various amounts of clothing depending on the temperature.
Yay, you're back! And to think that I had to blog for my own entertainment, haha. Glad to see you back and documenting as usual though. :)
ReplyDeleteBeing sick really is dumb - I agree with you! Hopefully now you have all had your (more than) fair share, and can have the rest of the year off! Glad you are back (or, were back for today!) sometimes it really is hard to "Keep up" with blogging, but the awesome thing is - its your blog, you get to say what you want, when you want - and if instead of writing you want to enjoy the moment or the evening, or sleep then you should do just that :) Always enjoy your pictures
