Over the past month we...
...installed a roof on the shop and a stove pipe for the wood stove. Picking a roof color was harder than I thought it would be, but we think it turned out nice. It will probably look better once we have the final color coat of stucco...not gray scratch coat.

...celebrated a THIRD birthday for a very special niece
and spent time with a very special nephew. Could they be any cuter? I think not.

...expanded pond #1. Ryan loves to play in the dirt, guess boys just never grow out of that.

...took a road trip to Sand Mountain, Nevada. Needless to say, it was very sandy, but the weather wasn't unbearable and we had a good time hanging out with some family and friends over the weekend.
Here's Ryan racing up "Comp Hill." He's the one on the right...no way he'd let me show a video of him losing!
That's all the pictures I have of our trip. For some reason, I took pictures when we first arrived and then put the camera away for the rest of the weekend. Sometimes it is just a pain taking all the pictures. As a result, there is not one picture of us together, nor of Trevor and Deena who were our "camp hosts" for the weekend. Thanks for the warm bed guys!!
That about sums up our last thirty days. I'm excited for the holidays coming up. I get to spend Thanksgiving with my family this year and am looking forward to the
BEST TURKEY EVER!!!
(Aunt Jen can vouch for that one)
